Hi guys! I have recorded a Tutorial for you about how you can answer The Question of the week. I explain all the steps in this video. I hope it help you. You can try it before Friday in the example. Some students have done it already. Remember this friday will be the first question about 7 p.m.

 La BBC tiene en su web divertidas actividades para aprender español. Podeis aprender los sonidos, los números, la comida, el mundo y todo lo que podais imaginar en español. Es perfecto para divertirse y repasar las palabras que habéis aprendido en clase conmigo. Podéis intentarlo por vuestra cuenta y contarme en clase lo que habéis aprendido. Estaré encantaga de que habléis algunas palabras en español.

Quizá podamos hacer algunos ejercicios en clase.



BBC has funny activities to learn Spanish in the website. You can learn the sounds, numbers, the food, the world and all you can imagin in Spanish. This is perfect to have fun and revise all words you have learnt in class with me. You can try on your own and tell me in class you had learnt. I will happy to hear from you speak some word in Spanish!

Don Pepito

Esta semana los alumnos han aprendido la canción de "Don Pepito". Todos intentaron aprender el estribillo de la canción y tienen una copia del mismo. El procedimiento consiste en dividir la clase en dos grupos. El primero realiza una serie de preguntas en español al segundo y éste responde. Con este ejercicio, los niños se divierten a la ver que aprenden español y a interactuar entre ellos. ¡Felicidades!



This week the students have learnt "Don Pepito" song. Everybody have tried to learn the chorus and the children have a paper with the chorus's lyric. The class split up in two groups. The first group says some question in spanish to the second group and the second group answers. With this exercice, the children have fun while they learn spanish and interact with your classmates. Congratulations!

The Question of the Week

Everyweek I will do on Friday  “The Question of  the week” about something you had to learn during the week. If you are the first person who answer correctly the question, you will get 1 point. In June, I will count all the points and the one who have more points will be the winner. And the winner will get a BIG SURPRISE!

The rules:

-There are two categories: P2-P3-P4 and P5-P6-P7
-Each pupil can write one answer
-To write the answer you have to do a comment in your group's post. Don't forget write your name and last name in brackets when you write you answer. For example, "Monday means Lunes in spanish" (Name and Last name)

Wellcome to Spanish Dances

Esta semana los niños de la guardería han bailado dos famosas canciones infantiles, "El corro de la patata" y "El barquito chiquitito".  Con la primera los niños se coordinan en un corro para bailar y hacer los distintos movimentos a la vez. Con la segunda canción, se mueven en parejas fomentando la sincronía con el compañero. Además, puedieron aprender algunos números en español mientras se divierten.

The first week  the Nursery has danced two famous children songs, "El corro de la patata" and "El barquito chiquito". In the first song, the children dance in a circle to encourage the coordination when they are in motion at the same time. In the second song, the children dance in pairs to promote the understanding with the partner. Moreover,  they were be able to learn some numbers in spanish while they had fun.

"Chuchuwa" y "Soy una taza"

Esta semana los alumnos han bailado "Chuchuwa" y "Soy una taza". La primera de las canciones describe varias posturas que los niños van realizando. Un buen ejercicio para divertirse y aprender el nombre de algunas partes del cuerpo. Con la segunda canción, los niños recrean diferentes objetos a la vez que aprenden sus nombres en español.

This week the students have danced “Chuchuwa” song and “Soy una taza”. The first song describes some postures while the children do them with the music. It’s a good exercise to have fun and learn some different parts of the human body. In the second song, children create, with their body, some objects while they learn their names.

The first week in St Mary's Primary School

Esta semana hemos aprendido algunas canciones, en este caso, en Euskera con los grupos de 5º-6º y 7º de primaria. Los alumnos han hecho un gran esfuerzo para aprender también algunos bailes tradicionales del País Vasco. Varias niñas bailaron el Txulalai y el Eskudantza en el centro cívico de Mullagbawn el Día de la Mujer, además de degustar algunos pintxos. Un buen día para todos. Gracias por vuestra ayuda y calurosa bienvenida.

This week the P5, P6 and P7 students have learnt a basque song. Students have done a big effort to learn some basque dances too.  In The Internacional Women's Day, some girls danced "Txulalai" and "Eskudantza" in Mullagbawn Community Center, as well as tasting some "pintxos".
